As promised, we continue the photo-marathon from 2015 FIG World Cup in Bucharest with snapshots taken on April 4th, during qualifications for Clubs and Ribbon. Ladies in group A are ready to take the floor with their routines - and, as you'll notice for yourselves, Margarita Mamun and Yana Kudryavtseva are the stars of this particular (photo)story. But before "diving" into the colors of the day, you might want to read/watch our previous two posts about Bucharest World Cup: Day One and Day Two (Group B). Enjoy.
Everything has to be perfect: Margarita Mamun's costume is adjusted by coach Amina Zaripova
Margarita, in the training area, practicing her ribbon routine - an intriguing and dramatic one, to fragments of the piano sonatas composed by Galina Ustvolskaya (and played by Mstislav Rostropovich and Alexei Lubimov).
Yana Kudryavtseva, practicing her ribbon routine to "La Cumparsita", one of the most recognizable tangos of all time.
Two incredibly talented Russian ladies, Yana and Margarita, sharing the training floor.
Ladies in group A are ready to enter the competition; in the spotlight: Elizaveta Nazarenkova, representing Uzbekistan
Next is Russia's Yana Kudryavtseva; and Yana's performance is definitely full of character and attitude.
Margarita is ready to take the floor for her routine; you can see her hand ready to throw the towel.
A work of art this program is; not to mention, extremely difficult.
One thing is sure: Margarita's clubs routine this year is to die for. Colorful, sensual - the Russian lady chose to perform to Beyonce's "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" and the song suits her (and her skills) wonderfully. Here's Margarita Mamun in the training area.
Arina Charopa (Belarus) in the training area
A queen in Bucharest: the exquisite Yana Kudryavtseva, rehearsing her clubs routine to "El vuelo del moscardón" played by Prague Festival Orchestra.
